About Us - Achinger Lavender
With heart, hand, and dedication for the fragrance of the Innviertel region
Welcome to Achinger, your organic lavender producer from Aching, Upper Austria!
What began as a small idea between family, nature, and passion has become Achinger Lavender – our passion project in the heart of the beautiful Innviertel region.
On our organic fields, the lavender grows outdoors, nurtured with patience, manual labor, and completely without chemicals. Every plant, every bloom bears our personal touch.
Four years ago, we discovered our passion for lavender on a small quarter-hectare plot of land – starting with just 50 plants. Without any prior experience in lavender cultivation, we gradually immersed ourselves in the world of this wonderful plant.
Our products are 100% organic and made with love and care:

Last year, we embarked on a new chapter in our lavender production: We initially commissioned the construction of a stainless steel distillation unit in Italy to produce our oil and hydrosol. However, from the very first drops, we realized that the fragrance of our hydrosol didn't reflect the intensity and purity we desired for our lavender.
So, we made a decision: We invested in a traditional copper still – crafted using time-honored techniques. And the result thrilled us from the very first moment!
Today, every drop of our lavender oil and hydrosol captures the unique, intense fragrance of our fields. It demonstrates how much quality, meticulous care, and a love for craftsmanship mean to us – and makes each product a piece of genuine Innviertel tradition.
